Building with forms
Everything you need to create, share and manage forms in OneForm — from your first field to inviting your team.
FIELD 01— GETTING STARTED
The essentials.
Each topic below covers one part of the form lifecycle, in order.
Create a form
Start from a blank form or a template, then add fields from the builder sidebar.
- 1From Forms, click New Form and give it a name.
- 2Optionally pick a starting template from the curated library — its fields are added automatically.
- 3Use the builder to add, reorder and configure fields (drag the handle to reorder).
- 4Click Save, then Publish when the form is ready to accept responses.
Field types & logic
Text, choice, file, rating and more — each with its own validation rules and conditional visibility.
- 1Open a field to edit its label, placeholder, required state and validation (length, pattern, min/max, file size/type).
- 2Use Conditional Logic on a field to show or hide it based on another field's answer.
- 3File Upload and Image Display fields store their files in the form's storage — no extra setup needed.
- 4Preview the form live from the builder before publishing changes.
Share your form
Every published form gets a public link and QR code you can share anywhere.
- 1Copy the public link from the form's overview, or generate a QR code for print/in-person use.
- 2Embed the form on your own site using the embed snippet under Share.
- 3Custom domains and white-label branding are available on paid plans — configure them under the form's Domain tab.
Submissions & exports
Every response is available in real time, with search, CSV/Excel export, and analytics.
- 1Open a form's Submissions tab to browse, search and view individual responses.
- 2Export to CSV or Excel at any time — file fields export as direct links.
- 3Check the Analytics tab for response trends, field completion rates and conversion.
- 4Need a clean slate? Submissions can be bulk-deleted from the Submissions tab (type "delete" to confirm — this can't be undone).
Team access
Invite teammates instead of sharing your login — they get their own account with access to your forms.
- 1Go to Team and invite a teammate by email.
- 2They sign in with that same email (Google or magic link) — no separate signup step needed.
- 3On their first sign-in they're automatically added to your organization with the role you chose.
- 4Owners and admins can remove members or revoke a pending invite at any time from the Team page.
